Reflections

Mirror

I am silver and exact. I have no preconceptions.
What ever you see I swallow immediately

Just as it is, unmisted by love or dislike.

I am not cruel, only truthful---

Most of the time I meditate on the opposite wall.

It is pink, with speckles. I have looked at it so long

I think it is a part of my heart. But it flickers.

Faces and darkness separate us over and over.

Now I am a lake. A woman bends over me,

I see her back, and reflect it faithfully.

She rewards me with tears and an agitation of hands.

I am important to her. She comes and goes.

Dulce de Leche

Dulce de leche consists of

The beautiful, outstanding, hardworking,  Jose (guitar) performed our closing after a 10 hour shift

The warrior princess Ashley (percussion) who is also an amazing visual artist (and our four year olds girlfriend)

The Pa Ze who can play seemingly anything and we also really love his solo stuff:)

They have played a few fridays in our shop and we absolutely love them. I was going to post one of their songs with some of our pictures but found this instead.

They will be playing the ultimate enid and edgar show with Sister Rogers and Evan Vidal this saturday not here, but at timewarp music. Go figure:)

We been lucky to meet such great people.
